A family of nine were among the casualties of the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict on Monday. 
The UN and many nations, including the UK, have spoken in support of halting the violence. The Israeli government has indicated that it has no plans for a ceasefire in the near future.

Israel has launched hundreds of air and artillery strikes on what it says are Hamas targets and infrastructure. Israel Defence Forces are increasingly facing questions over its conduct during strikes on civilian areas. The death toll on the Palestinian side has risen to 200
