NEW DELHI: As an annual ritual, Google announced that the public beta for Android 12 at its annual developer conference Google I/O 2021. During the keynote, the company introduced the redesigned user interface and privacy settings which will come with Android 12.



The company will release a stable update of the operating system later this year. However, you can still experience some of the key features of the latest version of the operating system by downloading the first public beta on your smartphone.

How to install Android 12 beta 1:

The Android 12 Beta 1 is available for download on Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3A, Pixel 3A XL, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4A, Pixel 4A 5G, and the Pixel 5. In order to install the beta, you will first have to enroll your smartphone from the Android 12 beta site.



After enrollment, you will be able to download the Android 12 Beta 1 on your smartphone.
You can also manually check for availability by going to Settings> System> System Update> Check for update.



Google has also announced that Android 12 Beta 1 will also be available on some of the non-Google smartphones. This list of smartphones includes Asus ZenFone 8, OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, Oppo Find X3 Pro, TCL 20 Pro 5G, Tecno Camon 17, iQoo 7 Legend, Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X Pro, Realme GT, and the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G.
